Between being sick, busy, and my back having issues I haven’t had a chance to write any updates in the last few weeks. I am, however, doing better and I’m less busy so here we go!

At the moment the custom arcade machine I’m building is on hold for the moment, I’ve been slowly working on getting my NEO GEO MVS up and running. One thing I realized is that I’m going to need something to hold the controls. I had thought about recycling my control test box but due to the way the wiring works on the JAMMA harness I have that could be difficult. I decided on a different solution.

Since I have a 3D Printer I sat down and spent a little bit of time designing a box that will just hold all the controls I need.

The box is actually split in to three parts for ease of assembly and maintenance. Once completely printing I’m going to paint it and add the buttons, stick, and some labels.

As you can see there’s not quite as many buttons as my test box. I decided to go with the classic MVS control scheme with one extra button for “coins.” Since I have a four slot MVS I also need a button to change the active game.

More to follow as the parts print and I get everything assembled.
